THREE NEW LIEBHERR MOBILE CRANES FOR GRUAS LEMAN Back to news

Spanish crane rental contractor Gruas Leman took delivery of three new mobile cranes at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen. The LTM 1130-5.1, LTM 1200-5.1 and LTM 1300-6.2 cranes will help the company based in Tarragona to modernise its crane fleet and the strengthen its market position.

The three owners of Gruas Leman, Samuel Molero, Miguel Angel Malo and Emilio Molero, travelled to the production plant in Ehingen to take delivery of their new Liebherr cranes. Samuel Molero explains the reason for buying from Liebherr: "The Liebherr mobile cranes we ordered are very flexible, feature technical innovations and therefore can be used for a wide range of work." Emilio Molero continues: "In addition, Liebherr's good customer service was a major factor in the purchase decision." "By modernising our fleet with machines featuring the very latest mobile crane technology, we can offer our customers significant added value, thus strengthening our market position", is how Miguel Angel Malo explains the significance of the investment for Gruas Leman.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 130 tonnes, the LTM 1130-5.1 has a 60 metre telescopic boom. Its compact design makes it extraordinarily manoeuvrable even on small sites. In addition, the time-tested LTM 1200-5.1 features a 72 metre telescopic boom. The Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 300-tonne crane delivers outstanding economy and a variable boom system whilst also featuring a maximum lifting capacity of 300 tonnes and a 78 metre telescopic boom.

Gruas Leman is based in Tarragona and has been using Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes since it started business in 1975. The company operates cranes with lifting capacity is between 25 and 500 tonnes. The main areas of activity for Gruas Leman are industry, refineries, petrochemicals and wind power.
