T&S - record sales as first heavy equipment auction in 2018 hailed a massive success - www.tsauction.co.uk
A superb foot fall on site at Reading, and a healthy number of internet buyers delivered an excellent event result for the T&S Auction Team yesterday.
Vendors participating in the auction saw prices rocket, with 2012 JCB 540/170 machines achieving over £42,000 each, and a brisk trade with high end pricing on everything put forward for sale.
“We are delighted with the result, and very pleased with the sheer volume of new customers attracted to the event yesterday”, said Richard Dance, Senior Auctioneer and Director at the Reading based firm. “Demand was high through all our product groups, and prices achieved were well beyond vendor client expectations across a large proportion of the entry” he added.
Other sales of note were 2015 Thwaites 6-ton power skip dumpers at £16,000 each, 2016 Bobcat E26 at £16,000, 2010 Caterpillar zero swing 308 at £21,250, 2011 Volvo ECR88 at £21,000 and a JS130 from 2011 making £22,500.
